“We’re gonna get to that place
Where we really want to go, and we’ll walk in the sun
But ’til then, tramps like us
Baby, we were born to run“
– Bruce Springsteen
“Be runnin’ up that road
Be runnin’ up that hill
Be runnin’ up that building”

Days in NUS Fantastic Running Club
I survived the early tough times in my PhD, thanks to the NUS Fantastic Running Club. The members in the club are mostly NUS graduate students and Postdocs. We explored the map of Singapore by steps. We prepared and ran Marathons, competed in relay race, and conquered the wild trails. It was no longer active, but its stories and tales are still told.

Days in NUS Staff Running Team
The training days in NUS Staff Running Team are beautiful, sweaty, and progressive. Under the German Coach Prof. Thilo’s scientific training schedule (yes, he is really strictly scientific, who always had multiple timers wrapped on his arm and a notebook at hand, to log down our time per lap.. LOL), I had a great progress in lifting my running speed. The members in this team are so inspiring. It was really hard to say goodbye.
